Cloud Architect

Having personally built 3 professional and production enterprise cloud solutions for some of the largest companies in the world, I can now offer my services as a Cloud Architect to your business looking to go from single-resource to multi-cloud/multi-region. I've built a handful of useful automation tooling to assist me and you along the path of building a cloud solution. Endpoint applications deployed on these cloud topologies include VMWare ESXi vSphere Cluster, Ruby on Rails Web Application (3x), and various SaaS solutions like JIRA, GitLab, etc.. Everything from AWS/OCI/DigitalOcean account management to provisioning hardware to installing packages to configuring services intercommunication to assuming your own Certificate Authority. Whatever your cloud architecture needs are, I can bring you from zero to hero in a fraction of the cost of any competition because of who I am by nature. Cloud Architecture labor services are billed at $360/hr.

DevOps Automation Engineer

Hiring a full time engineer is a full time job on its own, therefore if you are in a position to which that you're stuck on any of the core technologies that I have professionally worked with, my services may be engaged in a direct 1:1 consulting nature in which the code, bugs and issues that you have with your DevOps automation infrastructure can be analyzed, assessed, enhanced and/or fixed upon request. A bidirectional NDA is required and labor is billed at $190/hr.

Helix Core Perforce Support

Having worked extensively on 85+ production Helix Core Perforce servers for Warner Bros for over 3 years, I've become very familiar with P4 and how it is deployed in the public cloud, managed in the private cloud, and interconnected between hybrid environments between office locations, cloud hosting providers, and third party vendors. With a bidirectional NDA required, I can provide consulting services for Helix Core P4 by Perforce to your business or organization. While it is recommended that you engage Perforce Support directly for help with P4, organizations who may not wish to, or may not be able to, are welcome to reach out. Labor is billed at $160/hr.

Dedicated Web Hosting

If your website or application needs a dedicated hosting environment, you can reach out directly to me with your request. Depending on what you're deploying and for whom you're deploying it, the size and flavor of the web hosting is going to ultimately be driven by usage needs and not my overhead, therefore, to mitigate any of that kind of confusion, Dedicated Web Hosting services provided are COGS + Labor only. For example, if it takes 3 hours to deploy 10 servers that cost you $5,000/mo/each, then the cost you pay for "getting dedicated web hosting" is the 3 hours of labor needed by me and the cloud provider bill is paid directly by you with your credit card of choice directly to them. In this capacity, a contract and NDA is required and in a dedicated web hosting environment, I can either hand the keys over to you to run and manage yourself indefinitely, or I can retain copies of the keys and continue to provide support for them at $360/hr (Cloud Architect rate). This solution is designed to be attractive to small businesses who need stability and agility in solutions but also have liquidity for small projects.

Conditions for Hire

All services provided are operating under a d/b/a called Apario Consultants by Project Apario LLC. I am the owner and operator of the company and provide consulting services through it in additional to digital publication services and open source project involvement.

My time is very limited and when I commit to you, I commit to you fully to see your success which means that I also I reserve the right to decline an offer for engagement of services for any reason.

New clients seeking to engage services will be required to establish a Trust Level with me.

Trust Level 0

Having a Trust Level 0 means that I do not know who you are and we have never done business together in any capacity in the past. We are just getting started.

A 0 Trust Level requires a signed contract committing to a minimum bucket of hours purchased per invoice being no less than 20 hours, prepaid up front in a holding escrow by a law firm of your choice. You are responsible to pay any and all legal fees associated with holding funds in escrow per this requirement.

At Trust Level 0, upon receipt of services provided, the invoice is provided to you and your attorney by Project Apario LLC. Your attorney has 5 business days to release the funds in escrow to Project Apario LLC.

Business at Trust Level 0 can opt-out of the attorney held holding-escrow by pre-paying 50% up front and commit under contract the remaining balance due in upon receipt once all contracted hours have been exhausted.

I reserve the right to bypass Trust Level 0 and elevate new clients to Trust Level 1 at my discretion.

Trust Level 1

1 Trust Level is established when a long-time employee of your organization (> 7 years) personally knows me and can vouch for your reputation.

At Trust Level 1, after 5 calendar days late of an unpaid invoice, a 10% late fee is assessed to the invoice and if services remain unpaid, then legal counsel will be engaged to discontinue the engagement indefinitely and recover losses.

Trust Level 2

At Trust Level 2, it means that I've worked previously with your organization and I know you more than what your name is. Trust Level 1 requires invoices to be paid on the 1st of the month for the previous month's services.

Breaking Of Trust

Illegal or unethical practices may result in services getting terminated under a breech of contract named Breaking Of Trust. To engage in unethical, illegal or anti-me practices of any kind will result in the immediate disqualification of services being provided that are not subject to a refund. Depending on the severity of the crime committed, legal and law enforcement services may be utilized to protect parties involved. Nobody truly wants that, but I refuse to be a party in somebody else's demise and I will not help you hurt other people or businesses with my services.

Asking me to build one thing, then claim that you asked for a different thing, degrades the trust we have established. Save yourself time and money by assuring what you need exactly and allow me to ask followup questions.
